Dotted clouds a few hours from dusk
I don’t know what it is about skies that I like so much, but I can’t stop gazing up at them. I was able to catch these a few hours before dusk, as afterwards the sun would set behind the building. The way the sun peaks through the detailed clouds is breathtaking!
Summer rain with some haze on the side
We’re getting a patch of rain, as is customary for western Washington. Mild climate brings forth much rain. However, the sun is still out, and these dark clouds make for such interesting sights! I love how detailed these skies get.
Scattered clouds on a sunny day
Loving the harsh lighting we’re getting now that summer is almost here. I can’t get enough of these sky shots with the sun giving dark shadows to otherwise light, fluffy clouds. Hopefully this summer isn’t too hot! It would be nice to comfortably take some stunning harsh-lighting shots as the weather gets warmer.

Journey home at dusk
A personal favorite sky of mine is the dawn/dusk sky, where the colors are painted across the clouds. Not too bright, not too dark, and only just for a moment.
Sunday double-exposures
These I’ve made double exposures; Taking the same image, exposing the sky and the ground/trees with different exposures to make most of the image visible. I was aiming for the sky but I like how the trees came out in this one.
Saturday Storms
Had a thunderstorm, so I took these from my porch. It was quite an experience, and a welcome one. Good to be reminded of how wet Western Washington weather can be.
The spring bloom
Really nice to finally witness the flowers blooming. Just look at those gorgeous colors!
